Ricky Quinn, a devoted and passionate young man who has committed himself to
continually find a “better way” with horses will be on the East Coast in
July. He will be in Maryland the weekend of July 17& 18. We need to take
advantage of this opportunity by organizing a clinic.
Ricky follows the
Natural Horsemanship style of working with horses which is based on the fact
that horses are animals of prey and therefore have strong survival
instincts. Using patience, kindness and consistency a relationship is
created with the horse based on trust and respect rather than force.
Ricky’s mentor is Buck Brannaman (the inspiration for the author of “The
Horse Whisperer”) who himself learned from the great Ray Hunt and Tom
Dorrance. Ricky was chosen to be a presenter at the Ray Hunt Memorial Clinic
held last February, quite an honor.
For over a decade
Ricky refined his horsemanship skills while working at a ranch in Montana.
He currently travels the USA and Ireland conducting horsemanship clinics,
teaching horse owners how to better understand and work with their animals.
Ricky also offers Ranch Roping and Cow Working Clinics. In his Colt
Starting Clinic he will put a nice, solid foundation on any colt, or
re-start a troubled horse.
